A key component to regional economic development is the facilitation of startup businesses. John Sechrest is the Chamber Director of Economic Development, and is focused primarily on startups. His programs include funding mechanisms, mentorships, resource connections, networking, and cluster development. Intrinsic to the start component of business is the segue to Grow. John is happy to facilitate this step as well, but the Move component of healthy business environment is handed off to our Industry Recruiter, Aaron Edewards. His focus is on landing the growing businesses in the best spot to continue their success here in Benton County.
